Copiqo Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026. Copiqo is a Chrome extension designed to help developers, QA engineers, and testers organize, search, copy, and autofill test data.
1. Information handled by Copiqo
Copiqo may handle information voluntarily entered by the user, including:
• Workspace names
• Groups, records, and custom fields
• Test accounts and test data
• API keys, tokens, and credentials
• Website or domain mappings
• Extension settings and preferences
Copiqo may also access the URL of the active browser tab to identify the current environment and select the appropriate workspace.
2. How information is used
The information is used only to provide the extension's core features, including:
• Organizing and searching test data
• Selecting workspaces based on the active website
• Copying selected values to the clipboard
• Autofilling selected form fields after an explicit user action
• Saving user preferences and extension settings
3. Data storage
Copiqo stores extension data locally on the user's device using Chrome's extension storage APIs.
Copiqo does not operate a remote server for storing user data.
All user-managed data remains on the user's device unless the user explicitly exports it.
4. Data sharing
Copiqo does not sell, rent, transfer, share, or use user data for advertising purposes.
User data is not shared with third parties except when required by applicable law.
5. Network requests and remote code
Copiqo does not download or execute remote code.
All executable code is included in the extension package.
Copiqo does not transmit user-created workspace data, credentials, tokens, API keys, or form data to external servers.
6. Permissions
Copiqo uses Chrome permissions only to provide its disclosed functionality:
• storage: Save workspaces, records, settings, and preferences locally.
• activeTab: Temporarily access the current page after a user action.
• scripting: Run user-initiated autofill functionality on the active page.
• clipboardWrite: Copy values selected by the user to the clipboard.
• sidePanel: Display the Copiqo interface in Chrome's side panel.
• tabs: Read active-tab information when required for environment detection.
7. Data retention and deletion
Data remains stored locally until the user deletes it, clears the extension data, or uninstalls Copiqo.
Users can delete their workspaces and records from within the extension.
8. Security
Copiqo limits access to user data to the functionality required by the extension. Users should avoid storing production credentials or highly sensitive personal information unless appropriate safeguards are applied.
9. Chrome Web Store Limited Use compliance
Copiqo's use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
10. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Copiqo's functionality or data practices change. The latest version will be published at this URL.
